GETTING FROM DUBLIN TO WATERFORD

There are also buses that leave directly from Dublin Airport. Buses arrive at various locations in Waterford, including the Waterford Bus Station. Distance from Waterford Bus Station to Waterford Castle: 10-15 min by car or taxi.

By Train: Approx 2.5 hours. Departure Station: Dublin Heuston Station. Arrival Station: Waterford Plunkett Station. Trains run several times a day; check the Irish Rail website for the current timetable. Can be purchased online, at the station, or on the train (though it's recommended to buy in advance). Distance from Waterford Plunkett Station to Waterford Castle: 15-20 min by car/taxi
